    Are you ready to drive transformational change using data and machine learning? PDS Tech Commercial is hiring an experienced **Data Scientist** to lead AI/ML development initiatives that power smarter operations and decision-making across the aerospace sector. You'll work on cross-functional teams to deploy cutting-edge generative AI solutions, shape predictive analytics, and build scalable models that directly support critical airplane systems integration.

    What You’ll Do

    + Lead end-to-end development of AI/ML solutions to meet strategic business objectives.

    + Analyze large, complex datasets to uncover patterns and actionable insights.

    + Design, validate, and deploy predictive and prescriptive models.

    + Develop and optimize generative AI models to drive operational efficiency.

    + Collaborate with stakeholders across business and engineering units to translate data into impact.

    + Create compelling data visualizations and reporting to support decision-making.

    + Ensure robust model performance through feature engineering, preprocessing, and evaluation in production environments.

    Required Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field.

    + At least **5 years of hands-on AI/ML development experience** .

    + Proficiency in **Python** , including experience with APIs and libraries such as **TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, statsmodels** , and **sklearn** .

    + Strong grasp of linear/logistic regression modeling and statistical analysis.

    + Experience in **data manipulation and analysis** using tools such as **SQL, Pandas, and NumPy** .

    + Demonstrated success in deploying models in production environments.

    + **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.**

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Advanced technical education or equivalent experience (e.g., Master’s or PhD in a relevant field).

    + Experience with **Tableau, Power BI** , or other data visualization platforms.

    + Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex models to non-technical audiences.

    + Familiarity with Agile tools and frameworks (e.g., ADO, Jira).

    **Pay Details:** $75.00 to $90.00 per hour
