ACCOUNTING CLERK AT PRIMEFLIGHT
The role of the Accounting Clerk involves providing financial, administrative and clerical support to the Accounting Dept. Their role is to assist with billing, accounts payable and other accounting functions to assist the controller. The successful candidate for this position will possess attention to detail and strong data entry skills, as well as a thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word.
RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Handles all vendor correspondence via phone or email
+ Assists with customer billing and collections
+ Assists with monthly status reports and monthly closings
+ Files, maintains and distribute accounting documents, records and reports
+ Protects PrimeFlight’s values by keeping information confidential
+ Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
+ Perform any additional duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS
+ 18 years of age or older
+ Eligible to work in the United States
+ Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
+ Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus
+ A minimum of 1-3 years accounts payable or general accounting experience
+ Possess proficient 10 key and typing skills
+ Proficient in programs such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
+ Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
+ Pass a background check and drug screen
+ Must be flexible to work extended hours on occasion to support our field operations

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY/WORKING CONDITIONS MAY INCLUDE:

+ Tasks may involve repetitive motions of the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers
+ Specific vision abilities required for this job include: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
