RESPONSIBILITIES

I. JOB SUMMARY:
• Directs and manages all aspects of the Neuroscience Institute, Neuroscience Research, and Neuro Diagnostic Lab.
• Develops, implements and evaluates programs, services and activities for the Neuroscience Clinical Program to promote and enhance the Medical Center as a provider of high quality healthcare services and programs in neuroscience.
• Responsible for a comprehensive marketing plan to establish the Medical Center as a healthcare leader in the community in the field of neuroscience.
• Provides support and leadership to the medical staff and administrative/management staff in the accomplishment of organizational goals and objectives related to areas of responsibility in collaboration with the Director for Neuroscience Clinical Programs and Chief of the Neuroscience Institute.
• Evaluates results achieved with respect to goals and objectives for assigned area(s) and ensures effective utilization of human and material resources.
• Responsible for the coordination of efforts with other functions within the organization.

III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A. EDUCATION:
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Master's degree preferred.
B. CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
• Current Hawaii State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS certification.
C. EXPERIENCE:
• Three (3) years progressive experience in clinical program development and coordination in a comparable institution.
• Two (2) years supervisor/leadership experience.
• Experience to demonstrate knowledge of shared or self-governance team models.
• Prior clinical experience in neuroscience preferred.
