    Learning & Development Coordinator

    **Location: ** Kohler, WI

     

    Opportunity

     

    The Learning & Development Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of all administrative responsibilities for the Kohler Hospitality Learning and Development function. It also, on occasion, may provide administrative support to other areas of the Hospitality Human Resources team.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. **Coordinate logistics for learning programs:** This includes preparing, printing, and ordering classroom materials, reserving and setting up training spaces, and managing program communications.

    2. **Manage training event scheduling and coordination:** Schedule training events, coordinate with instructors, secure conference facilities and catering, and ensure managers are informed of training requirements.

    3. **Handle program registration and attendance** : Oversee event registrations, track attendance, and provide necessary administrative support for smooth program execution.

    4. **LMS and Data Management:** Utilize the Learning Management System (LMS) to accurately maintain employee training records, track program penetration, and generate reports on assessment, attendance, program adoption, and impact for L&D management.

    5. **Program Evaluation** : Collect, organize, and summarize feedback and metrics to support the evaluation of program effectiveness.

    6. **Vendor Management/Coordination:** Assist with vendor coordination for external training programs, including communication, scheduling, and invoice processing.

    7. **Provide comprehensive administrative support:** Assist with calendar management, travel arrangements, expense report processing, office supply management, purchase order processing, and mail distribution/collection.

    8. **Support broader HR initiatives:** Coordinate efforts with other HR functions, corporate departments, and hospitality operations to ensure alignment and efficiency.

    9. **New Associate Orientation Support** : Support the L&D components of new associate onboarding, including tracking completion and coordinating logistics. Facilitate New Associate Orientation, as needed, to support the training schedule.

    Skills/Requirements

    + Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

    + Demonstrated high level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.

    + Excellent organizational and project management skills.

    + 1-2 years of administrative support experience in a professional office environment, with a strong preference for experience within a Human Resources department.

    + Exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to accurately coordinate and manage large datasets.

    _The hourly range for this position is $15.00. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location._
