    Position Purpose:

    Designs and leads the operational foundation that supports our integrated marketing ecosystem. This role is pivotal in eliminating friction, scaling in-house capabilities, and enabling high-performance execution across content, media, and creative functions. It is responsible for developing the people, processes, and platforms that ensure marketing teams and agency partners operate efficiently, consistently, and in alignment with enterprise priorities. Responsibilities include managing the onboarding and offboarding of external partners, institutionalizing best practices, and embedding standardized procedures that are clearly understood, widely adopted, and continuously optimized across the organization.

     

    + Design and implement standardized marketing operations processes to reduce inefficiencies and improve speed-to-market.

    + Translate complex workstreams into intuitive, repeatable playbooks that guide marketing delivery across business units.

    + Identify friction points across content, creative, and media execution, and lead initiatives to streamline workflows and eliminate barriers.

    + Partner with internal stakeholders to assess current capabilities and build fit-for-purpose, scalable in-house models for content production, performance media, and campaign operations.

    + Lead cross-functional integration of new capabilities, ensuring clear roles, adoption, and alignment with long-term marketing goals.

    + Own the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes for marketing agencies and vendors, ensuring seamless transitions, compliance, and operational readiness.

    + Define and enforce operational expectations, SLAs, and KPIs to ensure consistency in agency deliverables and outcomes.

    + Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between agencies and internal teams to drive campaign efficiency and accountability.

    + Establish department-wide standard operating procedures (SOPs) that are embedded into daily ways of working and actively used by teams.

    + Develop a center of excellence model for documentation, training, change management, and operational communications.

    + Ensure that operational processes remain agile and evolve with business needs through continuous feedback, refinement, and measurement.

    + Lead the roadmap and governance of the marketing technology ecosystem—including workflow platforms, DAM, CMS, measurement tools—to support enterprise scale and coordination.

    + Collaborate with IT, procurement, compliance, and other cross-functional teams to integrate tools into secure and efficient workflows.

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

    + Complies with all policies and standards.

    Education/Experience:

    Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, related field or equivalent experience required

     

    Master's Degree in a related field preferred

     

    7+ years experience in marketing operations including process design, capability development, digital asset management, agency lifecycle management, governance, and integration required

     

    Proven experience managing and developing high-performing teams required

     

    Strong familiarity with Adobe product suite preferred

     

    Pay Range: $145,100.00 - $268,800.00 per year

     

    Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
