    Description

    As a Workday Integration Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations that connect Workday with internal systems and third-party applications. You’ll collaborate closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional technology teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that support and enhance key business operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical skills and a proactive mindset, who thrives in taking ownership and driving initiatives to completion.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Develop, test, and deploy Workday integrations using tools such as Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, BIRT, and RaaS.

    + Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document integration requirements, and design scalable, reliable solutions.

    + Ensure all integration designs adhere to Workday best practices and align with enterprise architecture standards.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in both development and production environments.

    + Maintain and enhance existing integrations to meet evolving business needs.

    + Participate in quality assurance activities, including reviewing test cases and supporting user acceptance testing.

    + Create and maintain documentation for technical designs, system workflows, and deployment processes.

    + Engage in Agile development practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.

    + Work closely with HR support teams to ensure solutions are compliant and aligned with business objectives.

    + Lead meetings, manage integration projects, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role, candidates must be able to perform each essential duty effectively. The qualifications listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and experience required:

     

    + Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.

    + Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying Workday integrations.

    + Technical Expertise:

    + Proficiency with Workday integration tools such as Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, BIRT, and RaaS.

    + Solid understanding of Workday HCM, Payroll, and Benefits modules.

    + Strong grasp of web service technologies including REST, SOAP, XML, and JSON.

    + Integration Lifecycle: Experience managing the full integration lifecycle—from requirements gathering and design to development, testing, and deployment.

    + Best Practices: Familiarity with Workday’s integration framework and optimization strategies for data flow.

    + Security & Compliance: Understanding of data security, compliance, and audit standards in cloud-based environments.

    + Soft Skills: Proactive, collaborative, and capable of leading initiatives within a team environment.

    Experience Levels

    + Specialist/Analyst: Bachelor’s degree with 2–5 years of relevant experience.

    + Senior Specialist/Analyst: Bachelor’s degree with 5–8 years of relevant experience.

    + Lead Specialist/Analyst: Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
