    Description

    We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Staff Accountant. This part-time position involves 20 hours per week and is remote, offering the opportunity to contribute to key accounting processes for a power tool distribution company. The role is ideal for professionals with expertise in QuickBooks Online and a strong understanding of distribution accounting.

    Responsibilities:

    • Organize and clean up financial records in QuickBooks Online to ensure accurate reporting.

    • Handle bookkeeping tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable.

    • Match payments to corresponding invoices and reconcile discrepancies.

    • Assist with monitoring purchasing activities and tracking inventory accurately.

    • Ensure proper accounting for sales transactions and product distribution.

    • Oversee vendor payments and maintain detailed records of bills.

    • Prepare clear and concise financial reports to support investor requirements.

    • Collaborate on inventory and logistics processes linked to accounting systems.

    • Perform general ledger entries and reconcile account statements.

    Requirements

    • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, with a proven track record of managing financial data.

    • Strong understanding of distribution workflows, including purchasing, logistics, and sales.

    • Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

    • Familiarity with inventory management and logistics systems.

    • Knowledge of corporate tax, sales tax, and corporate tax returns.

    • Skilled in journal entries and general ledger management.

    • Expertise in reconciliations, including statement and account reconciliations.

    • Zin 7 knowledge is a plus but not required.
