This is a Part Time (36 hours per 2 week pay period), benefited RN role. The shift will start between 9 or 10am and is located in the PreOp-PACU department at Mercy SD

As an RN in the Pre-Op/PACU you will be responsible for:

* *pre*-anesthesia preparation and observation and maintenance during the procedure

* monitoring and caring for patients are they are coming out of sedation after surgery.

Required:

* One (1) year of recent RN experience in an acute care setting within PACU, ICU or ED

* California Registered Nurse License

* Current BLS, ACLS from American Heart Association certifications

* Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English

* Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.

Preferred:

* Bachelor's degree in nursing

* Telemetry experience

* PACU experience
