    Job Title: Material Handler

    Job Description

    This role involves working in a warehouse environment, primarily focused on handling materials and performing data entry tasks. You will be scanning bar codes on inventory using an RF Scan gun and entering data using a computer system, specifically with 10-key input. Previous experience with MRP/ERP systems is highly advantageous. The position does not involve the use of forklifts or motorized equipment.

    Responsibilities

    + Handle materials within the warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory management.

    + Perform data entry tasks using a computer system with 10-key accuracy.

    + Scan bar codes on inventory using an RF Scan gun.

    + Utilize MRP/ERP systems for inventory and logistics processes.

    + Assist with shipping and receiving tasks.

    + Pack products into various sizes of boxes with attention to detail.

    + Use small hand tools such as knives and tape guns for packing purposes.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong 10-key computer entry skills with 90% accuracy or above.

    + Computer skills with a typing speed of 40 to 45 WPM.

    + Knowledge of ERP and logistics systems, including MRP.

    + Experience with RF Scan gun operations.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    + Detail-oriented approach to tasks.

    + Basic math skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.

    + Experience in packing products efficiently.

    + No requirement for operating heavy machinery such as forklifts.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.30 - $20.00/hr.
