Job Description

We are seeking several dedicated Circuit Card Assemblers (CCA) who are responsible and accountable for producing quality work to prescribed standards. Our focus is on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

+ Follow written work instructions and maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures, including those governing the handling of materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment (WHMIS).

+ Properly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

+ Participate in LEAN Events, 'Six S' activities, action teams, etc.

+ Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization.

+ Perform entry-level assembly functions, which may include prep, mechanical, harness, cable, printed circuit board sub-assemblies, spray application, and inspection, typically working from models and/or drawings within Production.

+ Perform simple assemblies and hardware installation, including screws, washers, nuts, and have a basic understanding of build documentation.

+ Perform pull-tests and verify tooling, use torque tools, and have the ability to interpret and assemble multiple units in-depth.

+ Basic troubleshooting.

+ Access production tools (routers, parts list, work instructions, etc.) and be able to wire prep, auto bond, sleeving.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in assembly, circuit board, and circuit board assembly.

+ Experience in soldering and electronic assembly.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wire tabulation.

+ Knowledge in mechanical assembly and cable assembly.

+ Skills in crimping and wiring.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High school diploma or GED required.

Work Environment

The work environment is clean and controlled, with a casual dress code. Assemblers will use ESD wrist straps and wear smocks over their personal clothes. The shift is Monday to Thursday from 6 am to 3:30 pm, and every other Friday from 6 am to 2:30 pm. Overtime is an expectation and requirement once hired on.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
