• Seasonal Golf Course Maintenance Greenskeeper

    Urbana Country Club (Urbana, IL)


    This seasonal part time position has some flexibility in both hours and scheduling depending on what the right candidate is looking for. A typical work day is 6:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M.. working on the brand new golf course, which opened May 2025. We are looking for 2 or 3 individuals to help with Walkmowing Greens, Tees and Collars in addition to roll greens or raking bunkers. Key mow days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday with a day of a weekend. Work is available now through the First of November and returning in March or 2026. College students and candidates looking for part time work- we are flexible with hours and work times, but a minimum of 10 hours a week is required.

    Requirements

    The minimum requirements for a successful candidate include (but are not limited to)

     

    + Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

    + Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions

    + Valid Drivers License

    + Must be able to work one weekend shift from 6:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M on Saturday or Sunday on most weekends

    + Must be able to pass a 10 panel drug screen and background check

    Urbana Country Club completed a 10 million dollar renovation project which included all new greens, tees and fairways, new bunkers with a premium sand and liner, and a 2.7 million dollar irrigation system
