In this position you will be a member of Markit!’s fleet team and you will be working to help administer operations in the shop and on project locations.

Job type: Full time.

Travel:   25-50%

Compensation :   $18-$25 DOE

Duties:

+ Monitor truck and equipment fuel usage.

+ Track daily equipment inspections for repairs needed, cross referencing repairs entered.

+ Assist with scheduling of truck maintenance, working with Enterprise Fleet and individual drivers.

+ Parts pickup and delivery.

+ Receiving packages.

+ Monthly fuel reports.

+ Monitoring truck odometers and regular maintenance.

+ Database maintenance and support within Quickbase, Maintain, Enterprise and Wex.

+ Driving a truck to different projects to deliver parts needed, as necessary.

+ Restocking shop and office supplies, as necessary

+ Attend operations meetings, as necessary.

+ Other duties as assigned.

+ Maintain and contribute to a safe, clean and orderly work environment by adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in Markit! Safety policies.

Requirements:

+ 21 years of age or older.

+ Excellent organizational and motivational skills.

+ Outstanding attention to detail.

+ Exceptional communication and interpersonal ability.

+ High Proficiency in Microsoft, Google Suite, and Adobe Acrobat software.

+ Strong customer service orientation.

+ Advanced knowledge of office machinery and cellular devices including computer, copier, tablet, and cell phone.

+ Travel to project sites throughout the SW US.

+ Possess a valid driver’s license.

Preferred Background & Experience:

+ Experience in the forestry and/or construction industry is preferred

+ Minimum of 2 years administrative, operations and/or shop experience
