What You'll Be Doing

+ Collaborate with operations to develop drilling programs and manage drill projects, including planning, cost estimation, supervision, and reporting

+ Assist with reserve and resource calculations, pit shell evaluations, and volume estimations for mining operations

+ Create technical maps, drawings, and documentation using AutoCAD and other tools for mine planning and reporting

+ Participate in geological fieldwork, data collection, and environmental assessments

+ Support health and safety initiatives across field and office activities

What Are We Looking For

+ 3rd or 4th year student working toward a degree in Geology or Engineering Geology

+ Experience in open pit mining and with AutoCAD or mining software is considered an asset

+ Strong observation, critical thinking, and analytical skills

+ Effective communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

+ Must have a valid driver’s license and personal transportation
