    Position Summary and Highlights:

    Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a Full-Time Certified Surgical Technologist to join our Ten Mile Surgery Center in Meridian, Idaho.

     

    The Ten Mile Surgery Center is a multi-specialty outpatient surgery center offering services in orthopedics, ENT, general, gynecology and more. Alongside the variety in cases, this site features an amazing schedule with a four-day work week, and no required call, nights or holidays.

     

    ** Position eligible for a Sign On Bonus and may be eligible for Relocation Stipend**

    Schedule and Benefits:

    + Position is scheduled for 40 hours a week Monday through Thursday from 6:30am to 5:00pm. Call, nights and weekends are not required!

    + Day 1 Benefits – colleagues are eligible for our plans from their very first day of work.

    + Additional hiring incentives may be available, including sign-on bonus and relocation assistance if eligible.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + High School diploma or GED required.

    + Current CST certification from the NBSTSA or NCCT required.

    + At least one (1) year experience in a health care or military medical settings required.

    What You Will Do:

    + Provide intra-operative patient care to patients as directed by the Director of Nursing / Medical Director / Quality Committee(s).

    + Anticipate surgeon’s needs in the use of medical supplies, instrumentation & equipment availability & readiness.

    + Prepare case carts for surgical procedures and maintain a sterile operating room suite during procedures.

    + Assist and/ or ensure documentation & detailed records are kept.

    + May serve as a resource (lead), role model & / or mentor.
