What will you do?

This position will lead all aspects of manufacturing financial support for the company, including budgeting and analytical activities surrounding cost management, inventory control, capital expenditures, fixed assets, and product costing. This role will serve as the finance business partner to the Vice President of Operations and across all North American manufacturing sites, in addition to serving as a key member of the Finance leadership team.

Reports to: Vice President Finance

Key Responsibilities:

As the Operational Finance Controller, you will play a pivotal role as a strategic partner to the Vice President of Operations and the broader manufacturing leadership team. Be at the heart of driving financial performance and operational excellence, ensuring smooth production processes, accurate product costing, and effective inventory control across all plants and warehouses. You'll lead the charge on budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, translating numbers into insights through variance analysis and KPI tracking that highlight opportunities for improvement. Your influence will extend to shaping standardized inventory procedures, overseeing physical inventory counts and cycle programs, and reconciling data with precision. A champion for continuous improvement, you'll assess and refine business processes to boost efficiency and productivity. You'll also lead a dedicated team of five Operations Finance professionals offering mentorship, training, and development to help them thrive while delivering strong results. Qualifications and Skills:

Essential:

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

+ Minimum of 10 years' progressive experience in Accounting or Finance leadership roles.

+ Demonstrated operational finance, cost accounting or FP&A experience working in a high-growth manufacturing industry.

+ Advanced computer skills and a proven super user of Microsoft Excel.

+ Highly Desirable:

+ MBA or CPA / CMA certification

+ Knowledge of Sage Intacct ERP and/or IBM Planning Analytics and Business Intelligence
