    Work Schedule: Days with Call Weekend and Holiday Rotation

    Hours:

    8:00am-9:00pm, with rotation to 7:00am-8:00pm and 6:30pm-7:30am, call, weekend and holiday rotation

    Summary:

    Provides cardiopulmonary respiratory therapy to the inpatient and outpatient populations as ordered by a physician, according to established standards and practices.

     

    Mount St. Mary's Hospital consists of multiple locations and associate may be assigned as needed

    Responsibilities:

    EDUCATION

    + Either: (1) Associates Degree with Certification in Respiratory Therapy or (2) Graduated from High School or equivalent, and has completed an approved one (1) year certificate program in Respiratory Therapy Technology or a Respiratory program determined by the Department to be equivalent and at least five (5) years of experience required

    + Licensed New York State Respiratory Therapy Technician require, New York State Respiratory Therapist license preferred

    + BLS within (2) two months of employment

    EXPERIENCE

    + Three (3) months of experience as a license eligible Respiratory Therapy Technician preferred

    + Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
