Description

We are looking for an experienced Plant Controller to join our client's dynamic team in the Lansdale, Pennsylvania area. In this role, you will serve as the financial leader within the plant, providing strategic insights and partnering with operations to drive value creation. This position offers the opportunity to influence profitability, improve processes, and lead a high-performing finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and sales teams to identify opportunities for value creation and process improvement.

• Analyze profit and loss trends to uncover areas for reducing waste and enhancing performance.

• Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes on weekly and monthly bases.

• Manage cost accounting functions, including standard cost updates, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational tools.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and lead inventory reconciliation efforts.

• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of finance professionals, fostering operational excellence.

• Develop compelling financial narratives to help stakeholders understand the insights behind the numbers.

• Drive initiatives focused on continuous improvement, leveraging lean methodologies to optimize processes.

• Serve as a key financial advisor to leadership, contributing to cross-functional decision-making.

• Utilize advanced financial tools and systems, such as SAP, to enhance reporting and decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• At least 7 years of experience in operations finance, within the manufacturing sector.

• Proficiency in manufacturing cost accounting, standard cost accounting, and month-end close processes.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

• Familiarity with SAP and other advanced financial systems.

• Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey financial stories effectively.

• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to evolving environments.
