Job Description:

TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. has an opening for an Inventory Specialist I (Cycle Count) - 2nd shift in its Wellford SC location. We offer competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package -- tuition assistance, 401(k), medical/dental/vision coverage, vacation and holidays.

Primary Responsibilities

The Inventory Specialist I is responsible for all assigned tasks relating to inventory control, including maintaining inventory counts and communicating inventory needs and status to Operations management.

Primary Duties:

+ Maintains inventory cycle count and physical inventory programs.

+ Counts and reconciles randomly chosen or chosen part numbers and locations daily.

+ Assists in developing solutions to shortages, overages, and inventory discrepancies.

+ Compiles verifies and reports periodic statistical information to management regarding trends in customer escalations as related to inventory.

+ Assists in compiling data related to special projects, as requested by supervisor.

+ Ensures compliance with inventory processes and procedures and contractual obligations.

+ Other duties as required and assigned.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

+ High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency

+ Minimum 1 to 3 months of related experience or training

+ Experience operating a standup forklift and cherry picker/high lift.

+ PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Essential Skills:

+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

+ Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

+ Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks, and pallets.

Physical Demands

+ Standing for extended periods of time.

+ Repetitive motion.

+ Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of parts and containers.

+ Frequent lifting up to 50lbs – team lifts over 50lbs.

+ Able to work in various temperature conditions.

Internal Qualifications

+ No final warnings

+ No more than 6 attendance points

+ Efficiency and Quality goals met for the previous 3 months.

+ Must be in current role for 6+ months.

+ Must meet all job description requirements.
