    Position Title: Technology Engineer Sr - Contractor

     

    Position Location: Pittsburgh, PA

    Provide locations/flexible work by preference: In order of preference:

    Phoenix, AZ

     

    Ability to work remote: Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 remote REQUIRED

     

    Acceptable time zone(s): EST preferred

     

    Days of the week: Monday-Friday

     

    Working Hours (Flexible): 8am-5pm

     

    Intended length of Assignment: One year

     

    Reason for open position: Replacement

     

    Potential for Contract Extension: Yes

     

    Function of the Group: Manages ServiceNow as a whole

     

    Initiatives/Projects: Migrating to new experience of ServiceNow

     

    Industry background: ServiceNow background, Prior Banking

     

    Team Dynamic: Currently six groups, with the plan to add two new groups. Each group has 7-11, one product owner, one scrum master, one developer, quality engineers, and some groups have BSAs and platform architects

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Perform design tasks and develop components of application and technical architecture

    • Develop test cases and data

    • Execute tests for the application or technical architecture components, work with other programmers, designers, and architects to meet application requirements and performance goals, participate in code reviews, inform the technical architect and project manager of any issues that may affect any other areas of the project, fix any defects and performance problems discovered in testing, document the application to facilitate maintenance.

    • Assists with selecting appropriate platforms, integrates and configures solutions.

    • Develops software components and hardware for new and emerging technology projects; aligns these with business strategies and objectives.

    • May provide consultation on common issues and best practices for junior staff.

    • Provides a systematic analysis on client requirements within the traceability framework and resolves any functional problems encountered.

    • Ensures quality of project deliverables while maintaining compliance with relevant standards and processes.

    Must Have Technical Skills:

    + Level 3 - 8 years+ preferred by HM

    + Design and develop Order guides, Catalogs, and Record Producers.

    + Hands on experience implementing HRSD, Employee Center Pro, Agent workspace

    + Good understanding on other ITSM modules like Change, Incident, Problem, and Knowledge.

    + Develop/Maintain integration between SNOW and other systems using REST/SOAP API, MID Servers and Integration Hub.

    + Hands on experience customizing ServiceNow by creating UI Policies, Client Scripts, Catalog

    + Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes and Scheduled jobs using Glide classes, Ajax, JavaScript

    Service Portfolio Management (SPM): Must have Experience in below modules;

    1. Agile Development

    2. Project Portfolio Management

    3. Demand Management

    4. Resource Management

    5. Innovation Management

    6. Cost Management

    7. Test Management

    8. Portfolio & Strategic Planning

    9. Investment Funding

    10. Portfolio Management

    5. Continuous Auth & Monitoring Workspace
