RESPONSIBILITIES** - **_A Day in the life_

+ Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, straight truck and other freight-maneuvering equipment, perform pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections, and report any maintenance needs.

+ Efficiently load and unload freight from trailers, ensuring proper handling and securement for safe transit.

+ Inspect freight for damage upon arrival and departure, accurately document any discrepancies, and report issues via the appropriate channels.

+ Sort and organize freight according to destination, customer specifications, and service center procedures, directing it to the appropriate dock areas.

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment on the dock and in trailers, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.

+ Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatchers, and other service center personnel to coordinate freight logistics and ensure smooth operations.

+ Other duties as assigned
