Responsible for the successful management and operation of procedural based services within Surgical Services. Duties may include: coordinating workflows, scheduling and ensuring patient safety and comfort. Assists in the management of the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities for non-surgical procedures. Plans and allocates resources to effectively staff and accomplish the work to meet productivity and quality goals; makes business decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable, and defensible in accordance with organization policies and procedures; reviews performance data that includes quality, satisfaction, engagement, and financial reports; monitors and measures productivity, goal achievement, and overall effectiveness; participates in the preparation and maintenance of reports necessary to carry out the functions of the area of responsibility; prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track goal accomplishment.

Required Education: Associate’s degree Required

Bachelor’s degree Preferred

Required Skills: - Two to three years of experience required In Surgery or Endoscopy Services with one year in supervisory experience preferred. - Ability to understand, communicate, and react effectively to the unique needs of patient and family needs. - Excellent customer service skills - Critical thinking - Work well under pressure while keeping calm and remaining customer focused.

Required License/Certifications: - Current NC or multistate RN licensure or Completion of an approved Surgical Technology program - BLS provided or obtained during first week of hire
