    Northrop Grumman **Aerospace Structures** has an opening for a **Manager, Project Management 3** to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in **Clearfield, Utah.**

     

    This position is a key member of the **Aerospace Structures** Leadership Team. This individual will be a part of the **Operations Leadership Team** supporting all program execution efforts across the Enterprise, **with a particular focus on the operational aspects of ongoing and new projects.**

    Key responsibilities include:

    + Serves as liaison/leader for multi-discipline project teams and line management to include integration efforts, definition of scope, management of budgets, and schedule development/status

    + Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports for Operations Leadership

    + Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives

    + Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients

    + Travel with Operations Leader to capture actions and provide on-going status and support as required

    Basic Qualifications:

    + Bachelors degree and 10 years (or Bachelor of Science in STEM and 9 years) of related experience as defined below, OR a Master’s degree and 8 years (or Master of Science in STEM and 7 years) of related experience as defined below

    + Related experience includes professional and/or military experience to include a background in project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management related functions

    + Prior management / leadership experience

    + Knowledge & experience measuring performance using EVMS processes and reporting EVMS metrics

    + Experience managing projects and/or programs to deliver results to support overall program objectives

    + Active, in-scope DoD Secret clearance last investigated within 6 years or enrolled in continuous evaluation

    + Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) within reasonable period of time as determined by the needs of the business

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Master’s Degree

    + Active SAP

    + Ability to effectively operate within a high business tempo

    + Strong ability to communicate complex technical issues and solutions to senior leadership

    + Knowledge and experience with the proposal process

    + Experience supporting large scale aircraft programs

    + Strong communication, organizational and team management credentials

    + Collaborative approach with ability to effectively communicate key information and direction across diverse teams across the Enterprise

     

    Salary Range: $133,400.00 - $200,200.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
