**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career-driven **Senior Oracle Database Developer** to join our **Herndon, VA** team. In this role, you will bring strong analytical skills to resolve complex technical issues and develop new features in support of a mission-critical financial system.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

+ Developing and updating custom software code for financial systems and documenting software code accurately and completely

+ Developing and maintaining procedures for installing and configuring CGI’s Momentum application to ensure repeatability and knowledge transfer

+ Installing and configuring CGI’s Momentum application in all environments; supporting regression testing and assisting with implementation configuration

+ Analyzing problem reports and preparing accurate schedule estimates to implement solutions and providing documentation input for design and solution elements

+ Performing configuration management tasks for software deliveries, including documentation and acceptance; applying approved software packets to all environments

+ Diagnosing and resolving technical issues to ensure system stability and performance

+ Administering and troubleshooting Oracle databases across environments, leveraging Oracle DBA expertise

+ Providing support to business analysts and testers in identifying anomalies

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s Degree: an additional 4 years of related experience might be substituted for a degree

+ DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical Level II Certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire

+ 8 + years of IT experience, including 5 + years supporting CGI’s Momentum application or similar enterprise financial systems and its components (e.g., Tuxedo Server, WebLogic Server, webMethods, BIRT, SAP Business Objects)

+ 3+ years’ experience as an Oracle DBA, including PL/SQL development and database troubleshooting

+ 5 + years of C++ development and Java Programming experience

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Oracle Developer Certification or equivalent Oracle-related certification

+ 2 + years of experience working with JavaScript

+ Familiarity with BIRT Report Designer and Hyperion SQR

+ 2 + years working in and mentoring junior staff in a Secured Access Program (SAP) or SCIF environment

+ Familiarity with the SAP Business Objects tool suite, Momentum Financials and CGI’s Momentum version 7.9.4

Clearance Requirements:

+ Active U.S. Secret clearance is required

+ Special Background Investigation must be current (within the past 5 years)

+ Clearance must be transferable and subject to government approval to support the project

Physical Requirements:

+ You must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

+ This position also requires occasional movement within the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

+ You must be able to frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, which may include delivering presentations. The ability to exchange accurate information in these situations is essential.
