    Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Brake Press Operator to join their team. As a Brake Press Operator, you will be part of the fabrication department supporting precision sheet metal production. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Brake Press Operator

    **Location:** St. Charles, MO

    **Pay Range:** $20.00/hour

    **Shift:** 1st Shift (6 AM - 3 PM, Monday to Friday)

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Set up and operate press brake machines for sheet metal fabrication.

    + Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine bending sequences.

    + Adjust machine settings including speed, angle, and pressure for accurate bends.

    + Select appropriate tooling and materials for production runs.

    + Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality control standards.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Minimum 2 years of experience setting up and operating brake press machines.

    + Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings.

    + Experience with CNC brake press programming is preferred.

    + Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (calipers, protractors).

    + Strong math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
