Our client, a leader in the defense industry, is seeking a DOD Sr Test Technician to join their team. As a DOD Sr Test Technician, you will be part of the Technical Department supporting various testing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** DOD Sr Test Technician

**Location:** Clearwater, Florida (1st Shift)

**Pay Rate:** $32.71/hr

What's the Job?

+ Monitor, read, and record test data for navigational, inertial measurement, and guidance units undergoing testing.

+ Learn to perform automated and manual test setups using established procedures to ensure proper testing of each unit.

+ Handle, mount, and test units using oscilloscopes, multimeters, calibrated hand tools, and various other test equipment.

+ Quickly adapt to test processes and learn to read and understand schematic drawings.

+ Work under the supervision of the Test Lead or Test Engineer, contributing to the overall success of the testing team.

What's Needed?

+ Minimum of 3 years of electronic experience.

+ Minimum of 3 years of electronic test experience.

+ Preferred: Associate degree or 1-2 years of experience in electronics or a related field.

+ Familiarity with standard test lab concepts, practices, and procedures such as 5S, FOD, and ESD safety practices.

+ Ability to spot potential issues and make informed decisions during testing processes.
