    Project/Program Manager I – Learning & Development Specialist

     

    Service Type: Temporary- 26 weeks, potential for extension or conversion

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and bilingual Learning & Development (L& D) Specialist to support global training initiatives. This role focuses on content localization, translation, and program coordination, with a strong emphasis on Japanese language proficiency. The ideal candidate will be passionate about learning, culturally aware, and experienced in digital content creation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Support the implementation and delivery of learning programs and initiatives

    + Translate and validate learning content from English to Japanese

    + Ensure cultural relevance and accuracy of translated materials

    + Provide administrative and operational support to the L& D team

    + Create engaging e-learning content using digital authoring tools

    + Manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively

    + Maintain a professional and positive presence in a collaborative environment

    Requirements

    Basic Qualifications:

    + Native or fluent proficiency in both Japanese and English

    + Minimum 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office applications

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Rise or VYOND

    + Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS)

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products

    + Experience in content localization or translation

    + Knowledge of adult learning principles

    + Familiarity with additional digital learning platforms and tools

    + Previous experience in a corporate L& D environment

    + Portfolio showcasing e-learning modules or video content
