    **Description** The Human Resources Strategic Initiatives Project Manager plays a key role in advancing enterprise-wide HR initiatives and drives operational excellence through strategic project leadership. This influential role leads cross-functional projects that align with strategic HR goals, improve processes, and enhance the employee experience. The ideal candidate brings strong project management expertise, an understanding of HR functions, and the ability to lead change in a fast-paced environment. This role leads initiatives that drive change, enhance operations efficiency and capabilities across all Human Resources functional areas and technology solutions. This position sits onsite at our World Headquarters in Kansas City, MO.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Lead and manage high-impact HR initiatives from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.

    + Develop and manage detailed project plans, charters, schedules, budgets, and governance structures.

    + Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

    + Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships and external resources.

    + Execute change management strategies to support adoption of new processes and technologies.

    + Monitor and report on project progress, risks, issues, and outcomes including time savings, cost reductions, and employee experience improvements.

    + Communicate project status and outcomes to stakeholders and senior leadership.

    + Ensure quality standards and compliance with company policies.

    + Act as a liaison between HR, stakeholders, and contributors to maintain strong relationships and clear communication.

    + Balance stakeholder needs and negotiate tradeoffs between scope, schedule, and resources.

    + Analyze and mitigate project risks and issues; implement procedures to manage threats.

    + Create transition plans and document lessons learned to inform future initiatives.

    + Develop and manage project communication assets in coordination with internal communications teams.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.

    + Minimum 7 years of related work experience; HR or IT experience preferred.

    + 3 years of proven project management experience.

    + PMP certification strongly preferred.

    + Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

    + Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    + Demonstrated success managing cross-functional projects and driving process improvements.

    + Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to influence, lead, and manage change effectively.
