• Industrial Maintenance Technician

    **Location:** Remote (Must reside in or near **Shreveport, Louisiana** )

    **Travel:** ~80% field-based at customer sites

    **Schedule:** Flexible hours, including early mornings and late nights

     

    Overview

     

    We have **Field Service Tech/industrial maintenance** roles supporting concrete manufacturing operations. These positions are remote but require regular field visits to customer sites in the Shreveport area. Technicians will install, maintain, and troubleshoot **admixture dispensing systems** and serve as the primary technical contact for Ready-Mix producers.

    Key Responsibilities

    + **Installation & Maintenance:**

    + Set up, calibrate, and repair admixture dispensing equipment

    + Perform preventive and emergency maintenance

    + Ensure equipment reliability and performance

    + **Customer Support & Relationship Management:**

    + Serve as the local liaison for plant management and batch operators

    + Conduct regular site visits to monitor admixture levels and customer needs

    + Support Field Sales Representatives in maintaining customer satisfaction

    + **Scheduling & Field Service Planning:**

    + Independently plan and manage service schedules

    + Respond to emergency service calls and short-notice project work

    + Maintain real-time updates in CRM and service management systems

    + **Administrative & Safety Compliance:**

    + Submit expense reports, manage inventory, and comply with safety protocols

    + Participate in safety training and adhere to host company procedures

    + Recommend equipment improvements and support R&D initiatives

    Required Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or GED

    + 4+ years of mechanical or engineering experience (education beyond high school counts toward experience)

    + Proficiency in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems (12/24V DC)

    + Strong communication, organization, and time management skills

    + Hands-on experience with tools, meters, and gauges

    + Ability to work independently and travel extensively

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Associate’s degree

    + Experience in field service or trailer hauling

    + Familiarity with the Ready-Mix Concrete industry

    Additional Requirements

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

    + Must pass DOT medical certification, drug screen, and background checks

    + Must be able to wear a respirator (facial hair policy applies)

    + Flexible work hours and overnight travel required

     

    Certain locations require pay information be provided in job postings. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is **$60,000** to **$75,000** per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

     

    In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 8 **%** of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is **$64,800** to **$81,000.** Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
