    Description

    Robert Half is seeking a highly motivated Sports Sponsorship Coordinator to support the execution of sports partnership activations for a leading global brand in the travel industry. This role will be instrumental in coordinating onsite activations, managing brand engagement opportunities, and collaborating with professional sports partners to bring impactful sponsorship strategies to life.

     

    Role Type: Full-time Contract (15 months)

     

    Hours: 40 hours/week

     

    Pay Rate: $25-28/hour

    Key Responsibilities

    + Support the development and execution of strategic activation plans for fan engagement and internal team member events.

    + Plan and coordinate both physical and digital sponsorship activations to maximize brand visibility and engagement.

    + Serve as a primary liaison between internal teams, external agency partners, and professional sports organizations to ensure fulfillment of contractual sponsorship deliverables.

    + Manage sponsorship asset execution and support sponsorship measurement and reporting efforts.

    + Oversee elements of the sponsorship and activation budget, ensuring accurate and responsible spending.

    + Coordinate community activations that align with brand objectives and enhance brand perception.

    + Anticipate and address potential obstacles, providing recommendations to ensure smooth execution of sponsorship activities.

    + Support partnership renewal discussions and negotiations.

    + Maintain a positive, solutions-oriented approach in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

    + Be available for business travel, including evenings and weekends as needed, to support live events.

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/training.

    + 1–3 years of experience in sports partnerships, sponsorships, or event marketing.

    + Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

    + Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

    + Excellent communication and relationship management skills.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience working with or for professional sports teams.

    + Knowledge of sponsorship activation in both physical and digital formats.

    + Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and externally with partners, agencies, and vendors.

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to think proactively to anticipate needs.
