We are currently seeking a Press Brake Operator to join our growing team. The Press Brake Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining and troubleshooting the machines. Keeping a clean and safe work environment while assisting others when needed and complying with all safety procedures. This position will functionally report to the Sheet Metal Foreman and work primarily in a group fabrication setting.

Responsibilities:

+ Makes routine adjustments to bend programs up to and including tools at time to assure parts are within tolerance.

+ Must check parts against print using proper QC measuring equipment.

+ Load/unload machines and may check basic cross-reference information to assure correct part is being processed.

+ Assures that basic quality checks are performed at specific intervals on machine parts.

+ Performs routine maintenance on all machines to ensure optimal performance.

+ Monitor machine operation to detect any issues or malfunctions.

+ Must be able to read prints, set up and run various metal fabrication equipment.

+ Works responsibly and efficiently, adhering to all safety rules and policies.

+ Perform any other duties as required by Supervisor/Fabrication Manager to realization of departmental and company goals.

Required:

+ HS diploma or equivalent.

+ 2+ years of manufacturing work experience.

+ 2+ years of press brake machinery experience. (preference on Trumpf press brake).

+ Must be able to read blueprints and technical documents.

+ Must be able to check and measure parts according to technical document specification. Use of measurement tools, calipers, micrometers, etc.

+ Familiar with folding machines.
