    **Join our team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families.** Kennedy Krieger Institute is seeking a dedicated **Speech Language Pathologist I** to provide direct care and parent training focused on communication, oral motor, and feeding/swallowing disorders. This role supports our mission to unlock the potential of children with developmental disabilities and disorders.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Deliver individualized therapy and parent training using engaging, family-centered techniques.

    + Conduct functional assessments in speech/language, oral motor, and feeding/swallowing across various settings.

    + Collaborate with referral sources and community providers to coordinate care.

    + Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with ASHA, JCAHO, and CARF standards.

    + Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, staff development, and community outreach.

    Qualifications

    + **Required:**

    + Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.

    + Maryland SLP license.

    + Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA).

    + CPR certification.

    + Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year with AAC experience.

    + **Preferred:**

    + Experience with pediatric populations and developmental disabilities.

    + Familiarity with community service coordination.

    + Travel within Maryland may be required.

    + Must be available to work outside standard hours as needed.

    + Exposure to clinical environments and potential hazards.
