    Position Summary

    Develops process drawings, sales proposal drawings, tooling prints and updates the MRP

     

    system for new product.

    Position Responsibilities

    Development of process prints, sales proposal drawings, plant lay outs and tooling prints;

     

    updates engineering changes.

     

    Scheduling and completion of print review meetings as part of new part development.

     

    Update tooling requirements in QAD based on process prints.

     

    Measurements

     

    Timely completion and accuracy of new parts, sales proposal drawings and engineering

     

    changes.

    Required Education/Experience

    1. Post High School education or training in engineering sciences – Mechanical, Industrial and Industrial Technology, or equivalent experience.

    2. One to three years experience in engineering and /or manufacturing discipline.

    3. Experience with CAD systems such as Pro-E, AutoCAD or Intergraph.

    4. Strong interpersonal skills

    Desirable Education and Experience

    1. Knowledge of fastener manufacturing equipment and processes.

    2. Experience with Six Sigma Processes, Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen techniques.
