• Senior Cloud Engineer

    ManTech (Chantilly, VA)


    MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Senior Cloud Engineer** to join our team in **Chantilly, VA.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    + Providing specialized knowledge for the cloud providers used by the Government.

    + Assisting in assessing and making recommendations for cost, security, and viability of IT projects in the cloud and supporting general engineering activities by creating, testing, and maintaining cloud-hosted IT infrastructure.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or other IT-related discipline and five (5) years of relevant experience in information technology, leveraging software applications and tools to meet customer requirements.

    + In lieu of a Bachelor’s: Associates’ degree and seven (7) years of relevant experience in information technology, leveraging software applications and tools to meet customer requirements.

    + Current DoD 8570 IAT II certification (CySA+ or equivalent) or ability to obtain one within 180 days.

    + Experience in researching, evaluating and deploying advanced cloud computing systems supporting large data analytics.

    + Knowledge with various cloud technologies and experience in providing infrastructure support in a hybrid cloud environment.

    + Ability to travel domestically.

    Clearance Requirements:

    + Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph.

    Physical Requirements:

    + Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

    + Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

    + Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.

    + Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
