Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist or Certified Hand Therapist to join our healthcare team in Hillsboro. As a Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing comprehensive treatment programs to help patients improve their mobility, manage pain, and enhance their quality of life.

+ Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans

+ Perform occupational therapy treatments using various therapeutic techniques and modalities

+ Design and implement rehabilitation programs for patients with diverse conditions

+ Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed

+ Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

+ Supervise and guide Therapy Assistants and support staff

+ Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in EMR systems

+ Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and home exercise programs

+ Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety protocols

+ Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

+ Occupational Therapy Degree from an accredited institution

+ Current Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice

+ Valid CPR certification

+ Proven clinical experience in occupational therapy

+ Extensive knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and treatment methodologies

+ Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and MS Office

+ Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and movement science

+ Excellent assessment and diagnostic skills

+ Superior communication and interpersonal abilities

+ Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

+ Strong organizational and documentation skills

+ Experience working with diverse patient populations

+ Commitment to continuing education and professional development

Compensation Range: $80K - $100K Based on Experience
