    Description:

    Thank you for your interest in our Patient Care Tech positions. We have openings in both Acute Rehab and Transitional Care Units at our hospitals in Berwyn (MacNeal) and Melrose Park (Gottlieb)

     

    Our units work with patients that are post stroke, heart attack, transplant and ortho procedures in an inpatient setting. Average patient stay is up to 10 days.

    Some of the accolades our units have received:

    • American Heart Association’s Target: Stroke Honor Roll award. To qualify for this recognition, hospitals must meet specific criteria that reduce the time between an eligible patient’s arrival at the hospital and treatment with a clot-buster thrombolytic.

    • Our Skilled Nursing Unit is CMS 5 Star rated and has been recognized by US News and World Report as best in Short Term Rehabilitation for 3 consecutive years!

    Performs a variety of direct patient care procedures to assist the unit manager, professional staff and physicians in providing patient care focused on the needs of the patient.

    Position Requirements

    Minimum Education:

    **Preferred:** High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education

    Minimum Experience:

    **Preferred:** 1-2 years of previous job-related experience

    Licensure/Certifications:

    **Required:** Certified Nurse Assistant, BLS (Basic Life Support) through AHA

    Hours:

    We are currently hiring for the following shifts:

    Full-time – 40 hours per week - Day/Evening/Nights

     

    Full-time – 36 hours per week - Day/Evening/Nights

     

    Part-time – 20 hours per week - Day/Evening/Nights

     

    _(All FT and PT positions include weekend rotation)_

     

    Registry/PRN

     

    Salary Range: $16.70 - $25.53 per hour

     

    _Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles._
