Job Description

Arnot Health is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing accounts payable transactions, maintaining accurate vendor records, and supporting the smooth operation of the department. Key Responsibilities

+ Prepare invoices for payment, including matching invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents in the system

+ Process and match checks to invoices, prepare special manual checks, and ensure proper documentation

+ Sort, file, and organize incoming mail and accounts payable reports

+ Respond to vendor inquiries, department requests, and other correspondence in a timely and professional manner

+ Accurately maintain the Vendor Master File in the accounting system

+ Assist with data entry of accounts payable vouchers when assigned

+ Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments

+ Adhere to all department policies, procedures, and performance management principles

Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent required

+ One to two years of experience with accounting tasks and computer systems preferred

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy

+ Good communication and organizational skills

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
