Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of payroll for employees while maintaining compliance with company policies and government regulations. This position is based in Willingboro, New Jersey, and offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise in payroll systems and employee benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process weekly payroll for employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

• Review and approve timesheets to guarantee proper payment and record-keeping.

• Maintain and update employee records, including changes to compensation, benefits, and deductions.

• Handle garnishments, withholdings, and other payroll adjustments with precision.

• Verify and process benefit invoices for timely payment.

• Reconcile payroll-related account discrepancies and inquiries to ensure accuracy.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address payroll and benefit-related concerns.

• Utilize payroll software, such as Workforce Now, to streamline payroll operations.

• Ensure adherence to all legal requirements and company policies related to payroll and employee benefits. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing and administration.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.

• Strong familiarity with payroll software systems such as Workforce Now or similar platforms.

• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Experience with accounting software systems and auditing processes.

• Knowledge of employee benefits administration, including 401k or RRSP.

• Ability to process payroll for large employee groups, typically over 500 employees.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy in all payroll functions.
