Position Purpose

Vibe Credit Union is seeking a dependable and hardworking Part Time Facilities Support Specialist to join our Facilities Management team. This position plays a key role in supporting the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure a safe, clean, and functional environment for staff and members.

Essential Duties

+ Perform routine maintenance tasks including cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal

+ Assist in minor repairs such as painting, patching walls, replacing light bulbs, and assembling / moving furniture

+ Support landscaping and groundskeeping activities including mowing, raking, snow removal, and general outdoor upkeep

+ Set up and tear down rooms for meetings, events, and other scheduled activities

+ Assist maintenance technicians and tradespeople as needed

+ Operate hand and power tools safely and responsibly

+ Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment; notify supervisor of low stock

+ Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

+ Respond to emergency maintenance requests as directed

Education/Experience

+ High school diploma or equivalent required

+ Basic understanding of computers, smartphones, email.

+ Previous labor, maintenance, or custodial experience preferred

Skills/Abilities

+ Basic knowledge of hand tools and power equipment

+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor for extended periods

+ Reliable transportation and punctual attendance

+ Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions

+ Ability to work independently or as part of a team

+ Work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions

+ Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and manual labor
