How you create impact

As the Sea Logistics implementation Manager will be responsible for managing customer-facing projects focused on implementing new or re-engineered business opportunities into the Sea Logistics network. They are responsible for managing the project team, ensuring timely resource allocation, planning, and execution of all their projects.

+ Solution design: Define the solution required to deliver the customer promise

+ Operational success: Define operational practices for Customer Care Locations and Operational Care Centers that are sustainable to maintain the customer

+ Growth: Set up the customer for long-term partnership and growth

+ Stakeholder assingment: Ensuring the right teams are involved

+ Leading without authority: Driving team collaboration across teams and countries

+ Communication: Provide clear scope on the implementation, continuous updates and task visibility to all involved parties

+ Delivery: Delivering what was sold/promised in a collaborative effective manner

+ Perform risk assessments on customer requirements pre + post submission of selling rates, highlighting any financial or operational risks

+ Maintain all open projects updated, with key issues, and work with executive sponsors to clear roadblocks to ensure resources availability and timelines are kept.

+ Take on strategic initiatives on a national level that drive local and global goals

What we would like you to bring

+ 4+ Project Management

+ 2+ years' Sea Logistics experience in a freight forwarding environment

+ 2+ years' experience and expertise in sea logistics as well as forwarding/carrier operational systems experience including data integration (EDI/API) and domestic transportation are highly desired.

+ 2+ customer facing experience in freight forwarding environment

+ 20% domestic travel required

+ You have an understanding of Supply chain concepts including Customer Onboarding, Implementation, Order Management, Transportation Management, and Destination Management.

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
