    Job Title:** **Capture & Strategic Sourcing Specialist (EGS)

    **Job Sum** **mary:** EMCOR Government Services is seeking a motivated and detail -oriented **Capture & Strategic Sourcing Specialist** in with approximately 5 years of experience supporting government contracts. This role blends **capture support,** **strategic sourcing** and **procurement lifecycle execution,** with responsibility for **pipeline management and Shipley-style gate reviews.** This position is remote

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Capture Management

    + Support the **maintenance and update of the federal opportunity pipeline** using tools like SAM.gov, FPDS, and GovWin.

    + Assist in **gate review preparation** (Interest, Pursuit, Bid/No-Bid) and maintain supporting documentation.

    + Serve as **Capture Lead for select opportunities** , coordinating pursuit activities and internal reviews.

    + Contribute to capture plans, WIN themes, SWOT analyses, and teaming strategies.

    + Participate in **color team reviews** and manage capture documentation repositories.

    Strategic Sourcing & RFQ Development

    + Draft RFQ/RFP packages including scope, evaluation criteria, and compliance matrices.

    + Conduct market research and vendor outreach to support acquisition planning.

    + Collaborate with technical teams to align sourcing strategies with performance and cost objectives.

    Procurement Lifecycle Support

    + Execute procurement tasks from solicitation through award and closeout.

    + Assist with bid analysis, cost/price evaluations, and contract negotiations.

    + Ensure documentation compliance with FAR/DFARS and internal procurement policies.

    + Track supplier performance and support contract modifications and renewals.

    Administrative & Proposal Support

    + Maintain capture and procurement trackers, dashboards, and reporting tools.

    + Support proposal teams with data calls, teaming agreements, and subcontractor coordination.

    + Prepare internal briefings and summaries for leadership on capture status and sourcing outcomes.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.

    + 5+ years of experience in federal capture, strategic sourcing, or contract support.

    + Familiarity with procurement systems (SAM.gov, FPDS, eSRS) and FAR/DFARS.

    + Exposure to Shipley Business Development Lifecycle and gate review processes.

    + Strong writing and organizational skills.

    + Demonstrated experience with MS Office Suite

    + Experience with GovWin, Salesforce, or procurement platforms (Coupa, Oracle). preferred

    + Familiarity with ISR/SSR reporting and FOIA processes preferred

    + Certifications: APMP Foundation, NCMA CFCM, or equivalent (preferred but not required).
