Job Summary

We are hiring energetic and skilled **Action Station Cooks** to bring excitement and flair to our **Chef Tables and Buffet experiences** for our dynamic **Culinary** teams. This guest-facing role is responsible for preparing and serving made-to-order dishes at live action stations (e.g., pasta, omelets, tacos, stir fry, bao buns, etc.), engaging with guests, and ensuring an exceptional culinary experience. Ideal candidates thrive in high-energy environments, have great cooking skills, and can deliver hospitality with a smile.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and cook fresh, made-to-order items at live buffet action stations.

+ Provide friendly, professional interaction with guests while cooking and serving.

+ Ensure consistent portioning, presentation, and quality standards.

+ Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout service.

+ Follow all food safety, sanitation, and equipment protocols.

+ Assist with setup, breakdown, and restocking of action stations.

+ Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff and culinary leadership to ensure smooth service flow.

+ Support the culinary team with prep work and kitchen tasks as needed.

Qualifications

+ Minimum 1–2 years of cooking experience in a high-volume kitchen, banquet-style, catering, or fine-dining (stadium, arena, or event venue experience a plus).

+ Valid ServSafe or state-approved Food Handler's certification.

+ Knowledge of various cooking techniques, including grilling, sautéing, frying, and roasting. Strong cooking skills with knowledge of various cuisines and live station formats.

+ Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

+ Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

+ Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays according to event schedules.

+ Excellent customer service, organization, and time management.

+ Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
