*Mental Health Tech (Part-time, Nights)*

*Schedule:*the part-time night shift Mental Health Tech (MHT) predominately works two, 12-hour shifts/week (from 6:45 pm to 7:15 am) and rotating weekends and holidays.

*How you’ll contribute *

A Mental Health Tech (MHT) who excels in this role:

* Performs patient physical exams and adjusts patient care to reflect patient changes.

* Recognizes and relays problems and initiates a problem-solving process.

* Assists with the training and continuing education of new hires.

* Assists with continued quality management, to include assuring safe quality care.

* Follows safety procedures, uses equipment and performs skills consistent with scope of practice.

* Always provides the highest level of customer service and patient relations.

*What we’re looking for*

* *Education:*High school diploma or GED required.

* *Experience:*One year of experience involving public contact which may have included providing care or guidance for children, elders, or others; volunteer work in providing respite to caregivers; or leading youth groups; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

* *American Heart Association Certifications:* Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire (non-AHA BLS certification valid only from date of hire for 6 months or up until the date of expiration, not to exceed 6 months
