    The Principal Business Systems Analyst will act as a strategic leader supporting GE Appliances’ electronic order-to-invoice processes. In this pivotal role, you will ensure seamless, end-to-end functionality across all sales channels and business micro-enterprises by leveraging Oracle ERP and its connected systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including Digital Technology (DT), project leaders, solution architects, and business process owners—to design, develop, and deliver scalable, innovative solutions that align with evolving customer and business needs.

     

    You will also play a key role in evaluating current system performance, defining future capabilities, and leading architectural solution development for electronic order integration. Additionally, you will own training and change management initiatives to ensure successful customer launches and system enhancements.

    How You'll Create Possibilities

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Map, analyze, and optimize end-to-end order-to-invoice processes and system interactions across all business units, micro-enterprises, and sales channels.

    + Define, scope, develop, and test requirements for electronic order entry and related transactions, including order status updates and shipping documentation, in conjunction with customer API integrations.

    + Lead system enhancements and integration updates within Oracle ERP and related applications to meet evolving electronic customer requirements.

    + Collaborate with Solution Architects and Business Process Owners (BPOs) from concept through design, deployment, and post-implementation support.

    + Conduct Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA) and develop mitigation strategies to address high-risk areas, ensuring successful rollouts and system stability during hyper-care.

    + Partner with call center leaders, training teams, and BPOs to develop and deliver operational and training materials supporting customer implementations.

    + Mentor and coach junior analysts in addressing complex, cross-functional system issues identified during testing and process reviews.

    + Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance system performance, process efficiency, and user experience.

     

    What You'll Bring to Our Team

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

    + Minimum 7 years of experience in Digital Technology or business operations, such as Sales Operations or Supply Chain.

    + At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle ERP and related applications.

    + Proficiency with API integrations and associated protocols in Oracle-based ERP environments.

    + Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

    + Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, and SQL.

    + Deep functional understanding of end-to-end business processes from order management through distribution and shipping.

    + Proven ability to design and implement order-to-invoice solutions that drive process efficiency and business value.

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

    + Effective prioritization and time management skills in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

    + Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and build strong cross-functional relationships.

    + Agile mindset with experience in iterative solution development and collaborative team delivery.

    + Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on scalability, user experience, and long-term impact.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Familiarity with MuleSoft as a middleware platform.

    + Experience with API tools such as Postman.

    + 5+ years of experience supporting ERP systems across multiple business functions.

    + Knowledge of Oracle-adjacent systems including iDS, OTM, GE Appliances Delivers, Scale, and Salesforce.

    Working Conditions:

    + Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

    + Weekend or evening work may occasionally be required, to meet critical deadlines.

    + Some travel may be required.
