University of Washington Medical Center – Montlake – Radiology has an outstanding opportunity for a INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST.

All of UW Medicine’s radiologists are board-certified and specialize in a variety of areas such as neuroradiology, body radiology, interventional radiology, musculoskeletal radiology, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, mammography and chest radiology. Imaging findings are integrated with all clinical data to generate comprehensive and actionable patient assessments.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Under general direction from the Imaging Lead and/or Imaging Supervisor, the person in this role will perform complex technical procedures and assist physicians during clinical and research examinations such as angioplasties, embolization's, chemotherapy treatments, and intracranial procedures.
Additionally, this individual will participate in the training of residents, fellows and students.
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Certified by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist
- Satisfactory completion of formal technology training in an AMA approved school, registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) OR equivalent education/experience
