UW MEDICAL CENTER- MONTLAKE- RESPIRATORY CARE is currently recruiting for a RESPIRATORY CARE INTERN to join our Respiratory Care Team!

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
The Respiratory Care Intern will report to the Respiratory Care Manager. the Respiratory Care Intern provides advanced Respiratory Care to patients of all ages, (e.g., newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric). Care is provided under general supervision in all areas of UW MEDICAL CENTER- MONTLAKE.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide patient care limited to only those procedures that have
been completed in the associated Respiratory Care School curriculum prior to
being done in the hospital patient care area
Utilize the respiratory care process (assessment, planning,
implementation and evaluation) to recommend, delegate, coordinate and
provide safe, therapeutic respiratory care to patients;
Provide respiratory care consistent with professional practice
standards, HMC policies and procedures, the Law Relating to Respiratory Care
Practitioner #18.89 and Federal and State regulations.
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited Respiratory Care Program within by the State of Washington.
