    Position Overview

    The Assoc Analyst, Retail Applications, trains store operations personnel on installed retail technologies and customizes existing and new applications to meet unique requirements of the end users.

    Description

    + Review end user problems related to systems procedure, data management or desired results and make recommendations to system or procedures due to equipment limitations

    + Coordinate system installation including hardware and software training as needed and provide documentation; Responsible for data accuracy upon system application installation

    + Train store operations personnel on existing, updated, or newly installed retail technologies

    + Troubleshoot systems and software applications on a rotation of after-hours to handle emergencies and provide resolutions to users

    + Travel Required:Yes

    Skills

    + Specialized Knowledge : General understanding of Microsoft Windows and SCO UNIX operating system environment

    + Special Skills : General understanding or training, support, and documentation methodologies

    Years Of Experience

    + 0-2 : Experience in grocery retail, data processing or other retail business is essential and will be weighted against educational requirements.
