### Job Duties
Training & Compliance
Hire, train, and Youth Engagement Specialist.
Conduct new hire onboarding, monthly & quarterly trainings for all staff that work with residential clients
Conduct monthly individual support sessions, weekly staff meetings and quarterly all-staff training.
Ensure accountability for required training completion and ongoing professional development.
Provide real-time coaching and mentorship to frontline staff.
Identify & Coordinate mandatory crisis intervention and de-escalation training.
Implement staff retention strategies to support long-term organizational stability.
Collaborate with Program Innovation & Development Manager to ensure staff are trained in trauma-informed care, youth engagement, and program-specific interventions.
Compliance & Regulatory Oversight
Ensure all staff working with residents complete required compliance training and licensing requirements.
Conduct monthly performance observations and weekly random video reviews to assess service quality.
Maintain audit readiness and ensure all documentation is up to date.
Oversee adherence to state licensing standards, safety protocols, and best practices.
Develop and maintain staff compliance tracking systems to ensure consistent adherence to policies.
Collaborate with Program Innovation & Development Manager to align programmatic compliance with licensing and regulatory expectations.
Operational Oversight & Community Compliance Engagement
Develop and monitor house staffing schedules to maintain appropriate coverage.
Coordinate scheduling, approve time-off requests, and oversee attendance tracking.
Ensure adherence to program standards and state licensure requirements.
Serve as a liaison with compliance-related external stakeholders and licensing bodies to ensure regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with external stakeholders to align compliance strategies with evolving regulations.
Resident Engagement & Conflict Resolution
Address resident concerns, complaints, and behavioral challenges using de-escalation strategies.
Promote innovative resident supervision approaches to foster positive development.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & SCHEDULE:
This position requires flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and on-call responsibilities.
Travel between multiple sites is required; candidates must have reliable transportation.
### Minimum Education Required
Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related field and two years of experience in a social services agency; OR
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and four years of progressive leadership experience in residential youth services; OR
Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
