    RESPONSIBILITIES:The primary purpose of this role is to support the mission of 7-Eleven's Store Support Departments via financial analysis, advisory, and project management. Specifically, the Senior Financial Analyst will assist with tracking and analyzing operating expense and capital expense spend versus the annual budget and revised forecast. Additionally, the analyst will support ongoing, periodic reforecasting and month-end close, including consolidating accruals supporting capital expense reclasses. The Senior Financial Analyst will be in a high visibility position and will collaborate with executives as well as with all other levels of the organization. The successful analyst will quickly become a subject matter expert across their assigned portfolio of departments and initiatives, to provide accurate, timely, detailed, and actionable financial analyses.• Consolidate actual spend metrics at a product and portfolio level, monitoring periodic spend versus budget and recommending corrective actions.• Provide financial advisory services to cross-functional teams and contribute to strategy determination discussions.• Perform technical financial and accounting analysis with intention of optimizing reporting accuracy and integrity.• Support bi-monthly reforecast, cumulative spend, month-end accrual, and month-end reclass processes• Perform ad hoc analyses, oftentimes involving disparate and/or imperfect information and short timeframes.• Take a leadership role in assisting departments with annual budget, contingency, and funding governance processes.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:• Education: Bachelor's/ 4 Year Finance Degree.• Required: 3+ years of related analytical experience. Internship experience will be considered.• Required: Verifiable & Advanced Excel modeling, large dataset manipulation, and visualization skillsets.• Entrepreneurial mindset: take ownership of your role and contributions; think like an executive or corporate investor; possess team mentality, can-do work ethic, and showcase integrity in all situations.• Executive presence and ability to build rapport and pursue strong working relationships with all stakeholders.• Ability to work in a cross-functional environment while balancing multiple projects, tasks, and ad hoc requests.
