Join the Bio-Techne team and make an impact on cutting-edge research in Life Sciences and Clinical Diagnostics. We are seeking a part-time Equipment Technician intern who can work around their class schedule.

**Position Summary:** As an Equipment Technician Intern, you will assist in performing preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment. Your responsibilities will include managing work orders, responding to alarms, conducting routine inspections, and assisting with equipment installations.

**Key Responsibilities:** • Assist in performing scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment • Conduct routine inspections and document findings • Assist with the installation of new equipment • Operate material handling equipment as needed • Perform minor building maintenance tasks • Follow safety and quality procedures • Additional duties as assigned

**Education and Experience:** • High School Diploma or equivalent, currently enrolled in a technical program or pursuing an Associate degree • Prior experience with equipment maintenance is a plus • Experience with material handling equipment preferred

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** • Basic equipment troubleshooting skills • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds • Proficiency with hand and power tools • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and off-site as needed • Strong problem-solving skills • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel • Team player with excellent time management skills

Internship Details:

+ **Duration:** 3 to 6 months, with flexible start dates depending on academic schedules.

+ **Location:** On-site at our MPLS location.

+ **Compensation:** This is a paid internship; hourly rate commensurate with experience and education level.

+ **Schedule:** 20–40 hours per week; flexible around class schedules where applicable.

+ **Opportunities:** High-performing interns may be considered for full-time employment upon completion of the program.
