    Provides safe and efficient ground transportation for patients, caregivers, team members in the ambulances. Maintains situational awareness during transports and communicates issues or concerns clearly to all those involved.

    Description

    1. Ensures that all patients, passengers, and equipment are properly restrained and/or secured while the ambulance is in motion.

    2. Provides clear, concise and courteous radio communications.

    3. Completes a ground manifest for each ambulance transport.

    4. Inspects ambulances and documents findings on the ambulance checklist. Reports all issues or concerns regarding the ambulances to management. Ensures ambulances are mission ready.

    5. Inventories and replenishes ambulance maintenance and cleaning supplies. Inventories the ambulance medical gases tanks.

    6. Maintains cleanliness of ambulances.

    7. Assists with the loading and off-loading of the ambulances, rotor and fixed wing aircraft.

    8. Follows all FAA rules and regulations in regards to the Airport Operation Area.

    9. Safely operates the ambulances in close proximity to aircraft and other objects.

    10. Performs other duties as assigned.
